How come you say that I am in a congressi well ?

I have endless lists of misdeeds of Congress and BJP/RSS. If any staunch congress supporter comes on this forum then I will surpass all in showing his real bad face. (little wonder that congress has lost ground in Bihar, even on this forum)

But when you point out 1 wrong of Congress and in the same breadth you praise BJP, it looses its credibility. Believe me. Politicians are friends behind curtain. They will hharm each other to an extent only. If BJP helped Jayalalita getting rid of all corruption cases, Congress is helping Mayawati.

Two MLAs have got caught pants downn and all netas are there to save thhem.

When Karunanidhi was arrested and beaten, all politicians were on their toe to condemn it, but how many of us know the name of a very senior IAS officer who was treated in the same way along with Karunanidhi ??
We need to remove politicians from thhe centrestage. Market oriented eeconomy is slowly doing this.

I was in Delhi when Parliament was attacked , and when common man got the news, they asked "kitne MP mare" and when came to know that none died they were dissapointed lot. "saale kuchh mar jate to achha hota"

To call a spade a spade you don't need any one.

All corrupt politicians derive strength from their educated supporters only.

It is mostly illeterate mass who are floating voters.

Let us keep talking about solutions.

Jai Bihar.

Do you think this budget is communal because

Free pre-examination coaching for candidates belonging to muslim community - while even the richest in those communities can study at Government expense at reputed private coaching institutes, "much more meritorious Hindus living below poverty line do not have any such benefit".

Our neighbours are in trouble

But late on Tuesday night, there were widespread rumours in Ranchi that under instructions from the Centre, the Governor Syed Sibte Razi would get JMM chief Shibu Soren sworn in as the Chief Minister in the early hours of Wednesday.

Prabhat I can similarly accuse u too

say that u are in congressi well. and I see u change the topic whenever I poitn out their sick face.. and yes ur statement that Anil BAu are reluctant to come out of well has one flagrant assution that anil babu is in well.. and another assumption that ur poit of view is always right and others are in well..

give ita thought for once, what u are indulgin in I call belligerance of thought........

I refuse to accept that congressi has any value.. aftre 45 years of mismanagemtn I am not willing to buy that they have changed.. I am not willing to buy even the master-stroke of liberalization as u might call it..

When they went on liberalization they had successfully emptied the treasury by their stupid policies hence they hardly had any other choice any one would have done the same thing..

I would have given congressi some credit had they not let that sorry state of 1990 when the country ws bankrupt come upon us...

Why I am stanuch NDA : their record on economic front is unparalleled, even UPA finance minister had to agree on this and belive u me these bunch of ungrateful people don't agree on anythign so easily..

And another bogey of BJP and hence the NDA is communal I outrightly find ludicrous and I have stats t back that.. if police complicity in riots became criteria for communal and anti-communal of the erstwhiel govt then I am afraid there is no secular party left...

Anant Bhaiya

Rajesh is an educated person and he is a learner also. After my many postings now he has accepted the importance of Manmohanization. Through Rajesh, we get a idea of what a staunch supporter of Laloo thinks. And I am sure that one day he will accept that Laloo is a destroyer. (at least in his heart).

But, you see Anil Babu and Rajeev Mishra Bhaiya, they have taken oath - They will not come out of the well called RSS/CPI(ML). Or may be we have not put enough effort on that (there is no urgency to do that). I always wonder how come educated people tend to be so rigid in refusing to see/accept reality.

Educated people must not be supporter of any one.

Dear Rajesh, don't worry, I am not after you. I am after all educated but blind people. It is the biggest challenge.

Let us keep talking about solutions.

Yes Dadan Pahalwan

His name makes him sound crminal but truth is farthest from that.. he is a primary school teacher who used to clean to personally spray DDT in stinking gutters all around his town. that's how he entered into politics....

As I said there are no dearth of well-meaning people in every class caste... As Vajpeyee exhorted during campaign, knowing fully well it's very very hard for Biharis to think beyond their caste: that if u must vote for ur caste man do see it's not a crminal minded person it's the right person.

Really - Laloo

Anil Babu, you are right that Laloo is worst politician India has ever got. He is not even for RJD, forget about Bihar, he is for himself only. Don't we see that how shamelessly he is trying for Rabri Govt. Once non-RJD govt. is in placee, I am very sure that people will start deserting him. I pity educated people like Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, Jagdanand Singh and likes. They are impotents. Daddan Pehalwan and Ranjan Yadav should inspire others.

Rajesh

I have been watching Rajesh's style for a while and I love it.

This guy is keeping the forum alive. He is using the Socratic mode of stirring people.

My apologies Rajeshji, for addressing you in third person.

I don't believe you are either a Laloo supporter or castiest bigot. I think I had picked this up much earlier (I am not very dumb, you see!!) but was waiting to throw this on you after the election results.

Now that you have achieved your goal of getting almost all of the people who participate in this forum to move to a progressinve platform; please use your skills to guide people into solution mode.

Well Done!!!

For immoral congress: one rule for goa another for

jharkhand..

before u guys jump on me show me a precedence like this by any other party in power in delhi..

Fact remains congressi have bene indulging in sick practice since god knows ever...

When Raj Bhawans thumb nose at rulebook

Sanjay Singh/ New Delhi

Raj Bhawans these days appear set to chart a different course. Morally elevating words like protecting the Constitution have acquired different hues, depending on the place these 'custodian' shrines are located and which party they are dealing with.

From his bag of tricks, Jharkhand Governor Syed Sibte Razi has pulled out some "old" schemes to satisfy himself as to who should be invited to form the new Government. The earlier parliamentary practice of inviting the leader of the single largest party or pre-poll alliance to form the Government has obviously no takers in Ranchi Raj Bhawan with its insistence on a list of MLAs indicating that the party or the pre-poll alliance has the support of a majority of newly elected legislators.

Recent moves by Jharkhand and Goa Governors have raised a number of questions on the role of the occupant of the high constitutional post. The issue has become more relevant after Jharkhand Governor did not invite Mr Arjun Munda to form the Government even though the BJP-JD (U) leaders submitted a list of 41 MLAs and paraded five independent MLAs who had given an undertaking of support to NDA chief ministerial candidate Arjun Munda.

Incensed by such dubious goings on, the BJP has decided to meet such partisan behaviour head on. Leader of Opposition LK Advani spoke to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Tuesday evening on the role of Jharkhand Governor, suggesting that his actions had "demeaned and devalued" the constitutional position that Mr Razi held. The Prime Minister reportedly agreed with Mr Advani's contention and assured that he would speak to Home Minister Shivraj Patil on the subject and get back to him.

A couple of hours later, not hearing from the Prime Minister, former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee called him up. Dr Manmohan Singh admitted to Mr Vajpayee that he had not yet had time to speak to Mr Patil but would do so soon.

Not getting the response they had hoped for, NDA MPs on Wednesday morning will meet at 10 am and later march to Rashtrapati Bhavan where they will present a memorandum to President APJ Abdul Kalam at 10.30 am to list out their complaints. After the meeting, the MPs will reassemble and decide on their next course of action.

In Ranchi, 41 MLAs elect, including five Independents are already sitting on a dharna in front of the Raj Bhawan from 11 pm tonight to impress upon the Governor that the alliance had a majority. There are reports that a scuffle broke out between JMM and JD (U) supporters in front of the bhawan in the evening as tension mounted and rumours flew that Mr Razi may invite the JMM alliance to form the next Government at the dead of the night.

Noted constitutional expert, Subash Kashyap said it appears from the news reports that "the Governors office is badly politicised. They are expected to work independently and in a non-partisan manner. It is indecent to have a parade of independents in Raj Bhawan. According to best parliamentary practice, propriety and principles, the Governors is not expected to hold a parade or indulge in head counting. The Governor is not a policeman and his job is not to indulge in interrogation. As in Jharkhand case there is no justification to postpone a decision to call the leader of single largest pre-poll alliance after a parade was held in Raj Bhawan."

"Both Sarkaria Commission and Constitutional Commission have stressed emphatically that the question of majority should be decided on the floor of the House, not in the Raj Bhawan, or on the streets", he said. Citing the constitutional provision with regard to formation of Government, he said since the Council of Ministers is responsible to the Assembly, the Governor is expected to appoint a person who, is his opinion, is likely to have confidence of the House. If a party or a pre-poll alliance has the clear majority then there is no problem. But if it does not have a clear majority then he should call the leader of the single largest party or pre-poll alliance to form the Government.

Mr Kashyap said, "after the new Government takes over the matter is between the Council of Ministers and the Assembly to prove the majority on floor of the House. The Governor does not come into the picture."

In sharp contrast to Jharkhand Governor, Goa Governor SC Jamir first dismissed an elected Government without even allowing the then chief minister to act as a caretaker till the time the new chief minister took over. He gave over a month to new Chief Minister Pratap Sinh Rane to prove his majority and no fresh deadlines were set for him when he failed to prove the majority on the floor of the House on Monday.

The contrasting actions of Goa and Jharkhand Governors would only cause more trouble to Bihar Governor Buta Singh who is faced with a deadlocked Assembly and no party or alliance is in a position to muster support of the required number of MLAs. Will the Bihar Governor set a third standard? That's a thing to watch.

LJP is not a party

sooner Paswan understands that better it will be for him. If he keeps acting coy for long he will find very soon that he is left alone and his MLAs have unilaterally given support to NDA.

Each and every of paswan's MLA are capable of winning on their own without any party crutches. Most of them were independent MLA or some rebel MLA in out going assembly...

hope sanity dawns upon Paswan

Laloo's sin are many

(1) He has total disregard for edcuation and educated people and he never shies away from humiliating bureaucrats in public.. This might humour likes of Rajesh but this is not a civilized behaviour and certainly this does not instill value of education in normal rank and file .I am afraid laloo exactly wants that, he wants people to remain uneducated so that he can sell his psec farce forever without caring to uplift their standard of living.. he is afraid of people getting informed and making thier own choice. He has always been afraid of educated electorate because across caste lines educated people do see through the macinations of empty rhetoric..

(2)Prabhatji posted that link where Jeans clad Shahbuddin assures him "Saheb sab thik ho jayega". Now criminals are in all parties but laloo's criminal are in forefront of decision making, and this is not acceptable.

(3) Lalo behind all this empowering of downtrodden trusts noone not even his own caste leaders. Had he not installed his illiterate wife in CM's chair had he instead preferred some eligible member of his own party his stocks won't have gone down. He sidelined the only person in his party Tekriwal who had some economic sense. He sidelined Ramai Ram the front runner for CM's post. He got killed Brij Bihari prasad his own MLA who was not supine to Rabri's call. In nutshell he trusts none and he means well to none. All his rhetoric are intended to keep him or his illiterate good for nothing wife in office.

(4) About social justice.. rhetoric aside all he has been able to do in 15 years is to change the criminal demographics. Yesterday majority of crminals used to be soem Bhumihar some Rajput some Brahmin today they are mostly Yadavs and Muslims. To me this is no empowerment of downtrodden. I don't have stats for empowerment and I guess this is subjective thing so data collection is not even possible but from what I have seen around my circle in Bihar is nothing has changed in fact things have worsened.

To Rajesh--- 17 forward MLA's, so what???

17 MLA's are either Bhumihars or Rajputs.. and you have a problem with that? Like those 17 forward MLA's are going to be any worse than the RJD MLA's who have ruined the state the last 15yrs. Do you know how ridiculous you sound.

These 17 MLA's have been elected democratically..and you Rajesh have a problem with that. I cannot believe that people cannot see your biased agenda...You are a biggotted, prejudiced person, who needs to wake up to reality, that your corrupt and criminal party is not going to form the govt. in Bihar. We all gave your party 15yrs and what did your party give us? And now you have a problem with 17 forward MLA's from LJP. Your agenda is very clear to me from the idiotic things that you right on this forum.

Caste composition is important

Prabhat,
I agree with you about the value of Manmohanization, but I disagree about the importance of caste composition. People are not enlightened as you are. We are not casteless society yet. As long as we are divided on caste lines, caste composition matters in every aspect of governance and more.

Paswan is trying to be Mayawati of Bihar, but.. Laloo is going to have last laugh ("I told you so ..").

Rajesh - don't worry

I appreciate your honesty but let me assure you that the caste composition of assembly is NO more important. Once the process of development kicks in, people will be more interested in material things rather than social order. And upper castes now consist of very progressive people thanks to economic reforms, they are talking/eager about investment, job creation/ wealth creation etc. And it is spreading across the society. Even Bihari politicians are talking about development. Nitish said - "lathi me tel pilane ke jagah pen me syahi dalo".

Don't you see that people are NOT "celebrating" Laloo's fall (they are just happy)because it is only first half of the film "Development of Bihar"

Let us keep talking about solutions.
