Rajmata Sonia and Jharkhand

Politics is for serving people: Sonia Gandhi

Press Trust Of India, February 20

Politics should not be the means of grabbing power only and should be used to serve people and fulfill their dreams, Congress president Sonia Gandhi said on Sunday.

"I learnt this from Congress and my family," she asserted.

Rajmata tum Mahan ho. Eevery1 should follow your principle of simple living, high thinking and sacrificing life for poor countrymen. Rabri Devi in Bihar is perfect replica of your ideals. Please make her CM, one more time be4 her husband tries to pull UPA govt down.

difference

Last year when I visited Patna , I asked a vegetable saler to vote out Laloo in the the coming election, he immediately asked me "aap to kamal(lotus/BJP) wale hai.n na"

I see the same thing on this forum. If I refuse to join the chorus of praise of BJP, people are assuming me either Laloo Supporter (Pappu Yadav) or a congressi (Anil Babu).

Pappu Bhai

Since you are new to this forum that's why you are ignorant about me. There are now more than 785 comments. You read my comments on this forum when I challenged Laloo supporters that Muslims are goinng to Modi's Gujrat for rozi-roti, and Muslims of other parts are 'NOT" coming to "safe and seecular" Bihar. That comment must be 200th (a guess).

Sanatan Shreay Ji

If you will be little patience, you will understand my point. You have to look deep about the differences - people moving from Gujrat to Bihar and moving from Bihar to Gujrat. Saying both are equally developed or undeveloped is not true.

Many americans move to other countries after retirement did not make those coutries developed - it is matter of economics, some other reasoons too. They got better life out of their retirement $.

People went to USA in 60s 70s to improve life style, education etc. Now that charm is not that much, even people are coming back to India to get better value of their $. For many people making Rs 50,000 PM in India is better than making $70,000 in DC or NY and you have your own people. Land and other things are much cheaper in Bihar than Gujrat, especially farming land.

My point was that you will not meet many Gujrati labor class coming to Bihar in search of job to improve their life or moving to Bihar because it is secular and they are in extortion business. the biggest industry is kidnapping and cheating.

Development of Bihar will not be overnight magic.

It is a very confusing Friday

things are happening so fast in India, it is impossible to keep track. every1 is giving some new and challenging news with tons of lies and manipulation ... my Gosh

Now, Congress boss is of the view that the Goa Assembly be placed under suspended animation and PresidentÂ’s rule imposed in the state, rather than proving majority on the floor today. But I gave hint few hours back of things to come from Goa. Why all this drama, when they did have majority - pull down an elected govt. (to save a democracy in the words of rahul - our future king).

I guess Sonia might get a nervous break down, she digged too deep to come out clean. Rahul also put his feet in muddied water by dharna on the advice of his MOM.

Mr Pa pu Yadav

Mr Papu,
I agree what you said about your visit to gujrat. At the smae time i also definately know that muslims from diffrent parts in India including Gujrat have migrated to Bihar. I mean these are individual examples and experiences that cant be made classical. we are not discussing If Gujrat is communal and Bihar is secular. Its all a game on time scale....what was Bihar duriing Bhagalpur??? or for that matter what was India during Sikh riot??? was it secular??...The question of this hour is mantra to develop Bihar.....economically,,politically and socially. Where to start from ?????. What is our priorty area. We need to do SWOT (Strength, Weakness,Opportunity and Threats) analysis of Bihar.

Jai Bihar.

Gubernational improprietaris few instances

The worst example was that of Governor Sampuranand who, in 1967, refused to recognise a United Front post-poll alliance in Rajasthan and gave preference to the Congress which did not have a clear majority.

Governor Dharam Vira of West Bengal sacked Chief Minister Ajoy Mukherjee because he wanted to face a confidence vote 19 days later than the date suggested by the Governor

A disagreement between Governor Motilal Vora and Chief Minister Mulayam Singh over the date of the confidence vote led to the latter's dismissal in 1995. In 1996, Governor Romesh Bhandari refused to allow the BJP, as the largest party, to form a government in Uttar Pradesh and President's Rule was imposed to further throttle democracy.

Pappu yadavji it was Shahabudden not tasleem

Sorry for confusing with criminal names.

I have no time and/or interest to discuss brilliance of Prabhat Bhai unless he reads some books not written by Congress goons and uses his brain to extract pure information.

One time, I got a chance to meet some Bihari muslims in Gujrat. I was shocked to learn that none of them want to go back to Bihar (land of seculars), instead they called their relatives to Gujrat. Though as defined by dear Prabhat Ji, Bihar is secular and Gujrat is communal. with there hard work, these starving people of secular Bihar, owned mobikes and children were going to school. they said there is lot of opportunity in Gujrat and they don't have free time to waste in unproductive activities like they did in Bihar.

Again about calcutta..

Just like in 1990 under penury India was left with hardly any choice, calcutta faced this question recently...

Kahte hain na communist ideology se pet nahin bharta are jab china capitalist ban gaya to ye west bengal ki kya bisaat...

I have respect for communist ideology but there is one biggest assumption on which communist ideology is based, which is (human being doesn't need incentive to work). Assume if I am working hard and getting similar benefits compared to someone who is a slacker, why would I like to work. SO this equal distribution of wealth doesn't fly in practical terms.

It has been foudn that for economic development uneven distribution of wealth is must.. Whether welike ti ro not but mankind is driven by its relative well being compared to its fellow being.

So all state should do is provide fair opportunity to everyone and let the people work for upliftment of their economic fortunes, everything will fall in place.

Mr Prabahat

Sir,
I did no pick you for the jutta..thing out of your 50 postings. What I was implying that it can be an approach to starighten things but I would not like to see that Juttabazi instead I would like to see moral upgradation of the whole society that will produce quality politician.

Again Mr Prabhat, We dont need qualification of one or two person to declare our state as developed....t Mr Prem Azmi has said about West Bengal??. I mean to say that one or two people if say that our state uis developed tomorrow...I wont agree. Its time for self assesment and self realization.

I am sorry Mr. Prabhat but I had no intention to pick on you. I respect your views but not necessarily I agree to all what you say. Every one have their diffrent inputs but what I would like in end to format a letter based on common understanding that "how to develop Bihar". I think you can later take initiative in this direction.
Regards,
Sanatan

President Kalam is very quite and calm professional. Very academic type by nature and honest professional. You can say little bit of nerdy type, who likes to keep his brain cells challenged. He would have continued as professor till his end and writing books. I feel, since 5 Governors were changed with his signature without any solid logic to fulfil the wishes of Sonia, he has become very uncomfortable with his this responsibility and feels trapped. Today Tsunami was a big blow to his values.

Pappu yadavji it was Shahabudden not tasleem

even thsi time Shahabudden has already started meeting all the independe MLA in jails.. and somehow he gets access to all of them..

That's why i am arguing with Prabhatji, NDa didn't indulge in any unconstitutional thing so please stop diluting this murder by congressi by falsely claiming that they did.

Given this happened and once Vajpeyee leaves and NDa comes in power now you will see these incidents happening...That's why this soort of precendence must be criticized and censured by all and sundry forgetting party politics...

The way UPA is going you and I won't be able to keep your head high in frnt of pakistani.. now what moral rights we have to lecture anyone on democracy..

Yes no more than two term

will be very very successful idea..other than communist-ruled state ( read with a netwrok of mafiaso) and caste-ridden states.. if u look around Janta does change gornment irrespective of performance..

Naidu got booted out
Chautala got booted out
same thing happens in Tamilnadu every five years though...

If I am Gujarati I will boot out Modi in next election, same goes with Buddhdev Bhattacharya, Sheela Dixit, orissa govt..

if u don't change these people often they will trun to crookism on the large scale...
