Nikhil

Nikhil, in Jharkhand, BJP+ got 36 seats, it means 45 seats went against NDA (as by your own logic, these 45 won elections against NDA). Why not the then ruling party NDA accepts this that majority of people want then ruling NDA to seat in oppsition.

As you said "at least NDA/BJP are open in their views". (hope you will like a pesron who openly lootes/ra** you family memebrs)

We shud learn some from USA

IN US, Governor of a State is like our Chief Minister (elected person), and he is THE elected head of the state, no un-elected or elected officer sits on top of him. Like governor of state in India can manipulate the publuc mandate on the order of his BOSS.

IN US, every registered voter is entitled to vote for a Governor of State and a MLA of his constituency. Unlike India where my elected MLA may become CM or may be nothing (I mean just an MLA). You see the disparity. IF my MLA become CM, s/he can do a lot more for my area than a simple MLA - MY vote power is multiplied millions of times, if my MLA is CM.

But what really can the President do?

Can he rescind the decision of the Governor? Is the summons just an appeasement tactic thrust upon him by the UPA government to placate the Opposition or to find some kind of compromise? Constitutional experts feel President can do nothing to reverse the Governor's decision.

"The President has no power to reverse the decision of the Governor. The President can impose the President's rule in a state, but only on the advice of the Prime Minister," senior Supreme Court lawyer Rajeev Dhawan.

constitutional expert KK Venugopal says, "As the President of India, he can also advise the Governor to follow established constitutional norms but unfortunately, the President cannot exercise any executive powers to compel the Governor to follow the conventions of the Constitution."

Then what are the options with the NDA? Just fight it out on the floor of the House on March 21, says Dhawan.

Congress exposed-- for you Congress lovers

We got to see the real Congress only after the elections in Bihar. After running against the RJD and being elected to 10 seats with a pact with the LJP, that same Congress then turned around in no time to announce their support for the RJD, which to me was no surprise.

For those of you who still don't understand what I'm saying, here is the bottom line. The Congress got 10 seats by running on an anti-Laloo, anti-RJD plank. Then to turn around and support them, is that not betraying(lying to be more honest) your constituents and all those people who voted for you. That is why the Congress is just a horrible party, with disgusting people. At least the NDA/BJP are open in their views.

That clown Razi using delay tactics

The real reason behind that clown gov. of Jharkhand, Razi, inviting Soren to form the govt. is this; Razi was simply using delay tactics, because by doing this he then took the list of the independent MLA's who swore their allegiance to NDA, and gave them to Soren, then claimed that Soren had the required # to form the govt.

This is not only outrageous, it is unprecedented. Even M. Sajjad, who does not like BJP, agrees with this. I think all reasonable and sane people would agree. Ribte that clown should be stripped of his position, and have action taken against him. As for the UPA govt., maybe now all of you will see what I already know, which is that the UPA govt. has no credibility, and how could they, they are surviving with the support of the RJD at the center.

Why do you feel that Rabri should be CM for next six months? Just because she is a nice lady. I agree with you that Rabri Devi is a nice lady but nice lady or nice gentleman is not needed to run the government. People of Bihar need a leader who can address the core problems and find solutions to those problems. Bihar may be lacking such a leader but if you don't have choice of the best then you go for better and that is what people of Bihar is opting for. So, who do you think is a better leader?

Why Mulayam Singh is dancing?

Because he is the real beneficiary of Goa and Jharkhand episode, just in time before he was pulled down.

Better for UP Governor, he should not try similar misadventure.

I only wish that India wide protest would have started after Buta Singh (on corruption bail like laloo)) have installed Rabri devi.

Had Sardar Patel become PM then you would have been spreading story/rumours why Nehru did not become PM.

Do you belong to Sardar Patel family but then his family members are also not raising this question.

Jai Bihar.

Thanks to Prabhat Sinha Bhaiya

Thank you for enlightening me.

After reading your facts, I feel Rabri should be then given six months to prove her majority by Governor Buta Singh, using his discretion.

She is such a nice and wonderful lady. She has proved education is not important that is a big encouragement to poor masses of Bihar.

Jai Bihar.

Bharat Bhagya Vidhata

Mahatma Gandhi was aware of Nehru’s weaknesses. When famous journalist Durga Das asked Gandhi why he had elevated Nehru to the post of Prime Minister and not Sardar Patel, he gave three reasons:

1.He was the only Englishman among all politicians of his time.

2. Nehru would never have agreed to play the second fiddle to any other leader as Prime Minister.

3. Because of his English upbringing, Nehru would handle foreign affairs ably.
