Hi Rajesh. You are right you should also take the thumb print. And see how many thumb prints are coming. With the stastics only around 40% of Bihari's are educated so we expect around 60% of people will represent with their thumb. This shows the pathetic state of Bihar. In every area Bihar is far below the overall national average ( most of the time at the bottom). Now do not say that all natinal figures are wrong and only you and Laloo is correct.

Election in Bihar !!!! ha Ha HA. It has started with transfer of DM and SP's, and very soon you will hear the news like candidate murdered, kidnapped etc. Of Course on the DDay booth captured, False Voting. This is Today's Bihar oh. Laloo's Bihar.

Your suggestion regarding signature campaign is fair. Since there are many illiterate people, I suggest to include thumb impression as well.
I would also like to point out that the idea about this kind of campaign is not novel. It is already in practice and carried out every 5 years. The process is called election.

Your outburst suggests that you ran out of rational thinking. If you don't like Laloo Yadav then just say so in plain english or any other recognized languages you like. Why make tantrum? Remember that there are people who firmly stand behind Laloo Yadav and outnumber Laloo haters. Bottom line is that people tend to have different opinions and belief and we better learn to live with it.

Mr Rajesh & Sinha

Dear All, I agree with Nawins view that we should not use filthy language agains each other. Lets have a helthy discussion and try to do something for Bihar and it people which includes all of us. But the irony is as long as Laloo is there in Power (he is the real chief minister of Bihar) nothing is possible. This gus will not allow fair voting. Why not start a signature campaigne addressing the President of India to impose Military rule in Bihar before the elections.

To Mr. Sinha & Rajesh

Yes Mr. Sinha, You are right!! Laloo is the fully responsible for the current situation of Bihar. He is the only person who instrumented the destortion of our civil and educational system. But I am not able to justify your angree over Rajesh. He was just expressing his view in this forum. He may be wrong, but this type of your comment on him may mislead our discussion. Again it is very important for us to understand that we are here talking for the improvement of Bihar's status. So it will be good for this to keep our focus on that part only.
It is understood and well known FACT that now Bihar needs changes in Power. It is our responsibility to make people understand the fact and work done by Laloo.I know most of us who is participating in this discussion are too far to vote in next election, but least we can do is express our view to peoples of Bihar to understand the reality of our leaders. Information media can help us in this. I hope this time media will do the fair job to change the mind of our people.

Hey Rajesh,
Your love for Laloo is still intact. Are you related to him or you are a hard core Yadav? It seems, you can not stop thinking about Laloo. Once again you are trying to defend a person, who has single handedly destryoed Bihar. In the name of "Bihari people and that all politicians are corrupt", you are trying to defend Laloo. You do not have any sense of dignity. You may have the opportunity to use computer but you do not have any sense what damage Laloo has done to Bihar. He has systematically destroyed every civil and educational institutions that take many many years to build. If he remained power behind the power of Rabri, there will be nothing left in Bihar and the people of Bihar in place of bulding their futures, they will be raoming on the streets/platforms of difft cities in India and asking for "De de babu Laloo ke naam". If you are a hard core Laloo supporter, use your proximity to him and convince him to leave Bihar alone for the sake of people and do someting else. He may go to Bombay and act in some movies. He is a great actor. This way he will earn some money and save Bihar also.

Bihar progress

Several people in this forum have pointed out that politicians from all political parties are responsible for all the problem in Bihar. I think it is rational thinking. We should not allow this forum to become anti Laloo platform or hijack by particular political interest.

I personally believe that the situation in Bihar is not as bad as projected. It hurts all Biharis when somebody deliberately try to find fault often with vested interest. Anti Laloo people might rejoice when Laloo Yadav is called "Bihari Bhaisa" outside Bihar but they don't understand that it denigrades all Biharis, not just Laloo Yadav or his caste.

Your are very far from bihar in USA. But still you feel the pain for bihar. I really appreciate you.

I my self is not in bihar. But I came across som of the biharis who are outside bihar and also in bihar, they too dont like the present scenerio. They hate RJD Govt. But there are many people in bihar belives in casteism.

The enviorment can be changed. I have personal expreience in bihar, when one gentleman quareled with me on the basis of caste. And there were many people of his caste around him and I was alone. Belive me when i attack is casteism approach all the people ageed with me they have shown the gentlemen his way.

We need to explain the people in right manner. We should Uplift there thinking appraoch towards the political system. Bihar can be developed with right leadership.

Bihar Progress

Bihartimes is a good platform for expressing views on bihar. I noticed that many intellectuals want to see development in bihar, eradicating criminalisation etc.

I do belive some of them are not from bihar but there love for bihar is tremendous.

At whatever level the present criminalisation is, it can be removed. We should form the forum to fight agianst thses criminals. The best way to fight them is to bring good governance in bihar. Since the all the political parties not good as others, there is very littele hope if laloo's govt falls other will bring normalcy in bihar. Therefore it high time htat we intellectuals should enter the political arena.

One may be think this is not possible. But belive me the people of bihar need some good revolutionery leaders. Which only we can provide not by joining any political party but creating new revolutionery party with no cast or religon politics having only one motto development all around. That all!

GENERAL

I would like to thank Bihartimes for giving the Bihari's a chance to talk about their State. In Bihar every politicain is either a criminal or supported by the criminal. B'cos even if Gandhiji comes today to fight an election from Bihar he has to know which caste he belongs to and how many criminals are supporting him. So you have no option. Today's Bihar is run by the Rangdaar's/Criminals under the patronage Laloo (This gus is king of criminals).

Somebody said in this very forum that he can see development work in Siwan. For your information there is not even a single 100m good road in Siwan. On the Crime graph it worse than Afthanistan. The Criminals are so daring that after killing the people they will go to PS and ask them to bring the body.

Let us talk about Patna. It is ruled by Laloo's Sala (Sadhu Yadhav). Every big hotel in Patna is now owned by Laloo or his Salla's. Recently they have forcefully acquired the D LAL Shop (Nead Dak Bungla Crossing). So anybody defending Laloo or Sahahabuddin is a criminal himself.

MP number one

Please tell something about your MPs work. Make them accountable. This kind of exercise by bihartimes.com worth appreciating. Tell where your MP has done some good work and where he failed.Make it a healthy discussion forum. Why bihar is backward ----- reason we failed to make our political representative accountable.Bihar is bleeding due to castism. If we can raise our horizon the bihar will be the best state in the country.

Dear Friends:
I wrote a message few days back arguing for a united effort on the part of all the Biharis to improve the State and move beyond the caste divisions. One of my 'progressive' friend felt that I was talking of a casteless society. I am not. Caste system is a historical development and we can not ignore it. But we should not let caste system hinder our progress. Caste and religion are personal issues and should be allowed to remain so. We should desist from 'politicising' these personal issues. Criminals donot have any caste or religion, they are just criminals and should be treated like that. They are enemies of the welfare of the people at large. In Bihar we tend to glorify criminal if they belong to our caste or religion. This trend should stop. For real social justice- a fight against Caste system is required and not a fight against 'castes' . It has to be fundamentally accepted that no one can one can be discrimiated against on the basis of their birth. Untill and unless we base our society of these just principles, we will keep debating who is good who is bad and never progress. Please take take the discussion to a higher level and discus how we can improve the situation in bihar. What we can do as individuals, groups and state to change things and change fast.

We are voting to those parties who are responsible for division.

Now the time has come - common man of the bihar should form there own party to fight these evil system. Lets join together to creat a new party in bihar and brighten the future of bihar.
