ministers from bihar....

well at least these non-biharis win elections and get people's mandate but what about the drawing room politicians which includes rootless wonders (does not matter whether they are biharis or non- biharis, they are rootless anyway)who get elected to rajya sabha as someone rightly said via a backdoor entry and by sucking up to the top bosses become ministers as well .At the same time these idiots have the nerve to call themselves mass leaders...to give you examples...shatrughan sinha, kapil sibbal, ravi shankar prasad, RK Anand(now jharkhand) and quite a few in the past

Take back polling booths

TAke back the polling booths in Bihar. That's the only way. It's time for a local Bihari party that takes care of Bihar's interests, Congress and BJP have always purposely given tickets to idiot anti-Biharis who don't give a damn about Bihar. How is it that the central parties (BJP and CONGRESS) always gives tickets to men who have repeatedly done no development work?

RJD would have been gone if it were not for Congress. It's these central parties that are using Bihar to gain power at all costs. Bihari should take a stand.

laloo and bihar

Dear All:
I just wanted to raise some points regarding the current state of affairs in Bihar. No one will disagree that Bihar has gone down i last decade or so under this present govenment. But who is responsible for all of this. Yes the obvious answer point to Laloo prasad Yadav. But to understand the reality we have to think rationally. Before he came to power, Bihar politics has already taken a turn downwards. Development was never an issue since late 1970s. It was all the politics or favouratism and corruption. We saw Chief Minister's from all possible castes but Bihar kept on deterioting. It was because of this lack of development and bad governance the present govenment came to power giving a new hope to the poor and backward people of Bihar. People who were in power ( Upper Castes) might have disliked it as they were the immediate loosers but the reality is the loss was only for the Upper caste elites a masses were poor cutting across caste lines so it did not matter who was ruling them. What people like me was expecting of Laloo Yadav govenment was a fight against this elitism and a fight for the dignity and honour of the poor people. Bihar needed a war against Caste System but what we saw was a war against Castes. This has just polarised the society more than ever before on Caste lines and development falied to become a issue. The masses are as poor as they were, infact even worst cutting across caste lines. Only change has been that the caste of the elites have changed. But the difference between the masses and elites have grown.

WHat Bihar needs is a genuine struggle against Caste System and poverty. The basis of this struggle has to be ' HUMAN DIGNITY' and 'PROSPERITY' for all cutting across caste lines. I am glad that some of you have shown some genuine interest for this cause.

I wish more and more people join this movement.

Regards

V

Freinds of Bihar

www.remit2india is a good way to send money ($$) from abroad. I used it before and it works and it is reliable. All it needs is name and address of the beneficiary. It should work for Pyush Ratnam.

I came to conclusion that we will not go anywhere if we confine ourselves to the politics. It is like religious debate. Instead of finding a silver bullet to cure all ills, I suggest we narrow our focus for specific causes.
I know about the charity called "ASHA" (http://www.ashanet.org). It selects and funds small educational project for the unpriviledged children. I think it is efficient and has good record. We should get involved (those who lives in US get tax deduction on donation).

To Rajesh

Hey Rajesh,
It seems good sense is prevailing in you. Poverty can be removed but self pitiness can not be removed. The people, who think to better their future, work hard and do not wait for the govy to come and give. "One needs to understand that you are only and no one else the master of your destiny" but you have to have a good civilized society where you feel safe and protected from criminals like Laloo. Laloo can be self proclaimed champion for lower caste people but he has them the most. He is depriving them good educationa s he destroyed the schools. He is depriving them most good health as he has destroyed hospitals and left them to die. All sensible persons including his best friens "Ranjan Prasad" left him because the way he is taking Bihar. So, you need to help people, who wants to get rid of Laloo.
You have some hope.

To Rajesh

I don’t know Rajesh, why are you trying to prove Laloo as a Masiha of Dalit or Backward community. From your own conscious you know – he is not so. He was a good leader at the time of JP Movement in Bihar (when he was student leader at P U), but after getting the chair, he became the dictator of Bihar with the help of his GUNDAs. This is a fact and no one can deny from this.
Also please don’t try to defend him by saying that he is being blamed because he is fighting for the goodwill of backward community. It is his political approach to convince the innocent peoples of our state, that he is fighting for them. I also belong to a backward cast of Bihar, and I have seen that how he is being hated by all the intellectuals there, irrespective of their caste. He is not serving to any sector.
Anyway, I also want to know if there is anyway to send money in $$ for little guy.

"Bihari BHAINSA"

People tend to overlook the fact that this kind of denigrading term for Biharis did not start with Laloo Yadav. It was there decades ago when some people love to refer Bihar as 'best administered state' in India. By the way, even 'best adminstered state' Bihar was poorest in the country.

It may be true that Bihar came into prominence with bad light with the advent of Laloo Yadav and reason is simple. Laloo Yadav is easiy identified with low caste movement. Just look around who are people who refer to Biharis in general and Laloo in particular in denigrading term. They are outfits like Shiv sena and RSS who are identified with high caste supremacy. Thakerey has issue with Dalits in his own state. I know most people outside Bihar who look down at Biharis treat Dalits and other low castes in same way.

To All

It is nice to see that out discussion is taking some good shape and we are about to reach on some fruitful outcome. It is also true that telling the world like “LALOO BHAINSA” is insult for Bihar or Biharies, but as Mr. Mishra has told that when some one comments a Biharies by the name of Laloo, it is also very much insulting. Not even the Western or Southern India , I use to hear comments in here USA also. When any Indian here come to know that I am from Bihar their first reaction would be is “O you are from the state of Laloo Yadav”. So dear Mr. Rajesh, I am not accusing you for being one of Laloo’s supporter, but it is necessary that we are really feeling bad to see Laloo as a synonyms of Bihar. And also please don’t compare a signature campaign with the legislative Elections. Everybody knows that what is the reality of Election in India. It is true that illiteracy of Bihar peoples are the major factor behind this. I am sure, more than 50% of our population are not aware of the fact. They only know that Laloo is a Mashia for Yadav, Dalit and Muslimes”. We have to change it.

Anyway it is an endless discussion, I really appreciate Mr. Kumar’s approach to make a banner for Friends of Bihar and try to help someone who really deserve it. Mr. Kumar, I am willing to fund a small amount to that child(even it will be insufficient for him), can you please let me know how to send the FOREX to that guy.

To Rajesh and all who thinks like him

Hey Rajesh,
It is not a question of liking or hating of a corrupt person like Laloo. You know who loves Laloo, persons like you, who may have either fake degree or degree by cheating and just can not think beyond "Idiot Laloo", who is "Kalank" in the name of Bihar and Bihari. People will call you "Bihari Bhaisa" or such stupid names as Laloo has brought Bihar to that level. All the people you think that you will make any difference in Bihar until this "Laloo Idiot" and supporters like Rajesh are there.
Rajesh, you are suppoting a criminal who needs to be thorwn in some gutter from where he came.
May God give you some sense and dignity if you have conscience otherwise only God can help you and your Bihar.

MR. Kumar

Why you call laloo's bihar. Why not our bihar. Is not we belong to bihar. Calling laloos bihar is an insult to all biharis. Because lalu is not a person deserve to be a bihari. People like him should be thrown in a "nala". I am not personally against him, but a peson become people respresentative then every person has the right to talk agaist him personlly.

He has not sacrificed for bihar. He sacrificed bihar.

Mr. kumar it is we the people are responsible for laloo rise and bihar downfall. We should now atleast work for development of bihar. I know there is lot of risk doing alone. But as a group we can do. I am confident bihar will progress if we share hands.

Contnued....

I fully endorse view expressed by Mr. Nawin. We should not impute each other on this platform rather should express our views. Progress of bihar is not at all possible if majority of people are inclined to one school of thought. Need of hour is to educate mass innocent people, the ill effect of present system on the progress of bihar and their progress.

We should aware them how the development will facilitate their day to day work. We should tell them that how the closure of sugar factories in bihar effected the their income level.

We must tell them that had been bihar progressed like other states in bihar, their children would not have to work as a labour in ohter states. Had they been worked even as a labour in bihar, they could have been saved lot money, apart from living decent life.

In short, instead of telling of What RJD govt has done over the years to bihar we should educate them of their standard of living....and so on.

If any one thinks that replacing of RJD Govt. will develope the bihar is wrong. Bihar can only be develope only when people of bihar wants. This is a fact.

is Govt. of other states in india like maharashtra, tamilnadu, Andhra etc are castless, corruptless or crimeless? No. There is! but even corrupt people there want development. People there want devlopment. Hence, whoever are in govt. they are have to work for development.

What the development situation in bihar before RJD Govt. What Mr. Jagannath Mishra has done for bihar. I belive the progress of bihar stagnanted before the present govt. And this govt. turns to be nikkamma, nakara, added the downfall of bihar development.

Mr. Rajesh was talking that calling Laloo Bhainsa is denigrades not only laloo but biharis as a whole. You are absolutely right. But how about when people whatside is referred as "Are yeh to laloo ke desh ke hain jinhone janwaron ka charra khaya." Mr. Rajesh why a bihari has to feel insulted because of laloo". If you are living outside bihar then you know it. If not come out of bihar. Not Uttar pradesh, but south and western india.
