Vote for Bihar Not For Leader

In this election Bihari's have to show there Intellectuality. In the present time Bihar is the least developed state in the country.Administration, trnsportation are already collapsed. People from other part of the country fears to enter in the state. No one is safe in the Biahr? Who is responsible for all this........

All other states are growing day to day but Bihar is going 10 Years back from there counter part. From last one-two year every state is generating thousands of Job's for there people but in Bihar.....Nothing to say......
Whole responsibilty for this only goes to Bihari's leader and little bit to the people also, because we only choose our leader to lead the state.
So, this we have to show the power that Bihari's can also choose the good leader who think for the state development and only for themself.
All the Bihari's have to now Wakeup and see where are we? Where the world is goign on? Think Why this is happening to Bihar only..........

A proposed solution to Bihar's problems.

Hi All,

I was going through the comments posted here and found obsession with caste related issues quite strong with most people. Well, that's the way we are and we cannot do anything about it. All of us take great pride in belonging to a particular caste.

One solution to our problems can be something like this: Each caste tries its best to beat all other castes of communities. However, this should be done in a respectable and fair manner. If each community takes care of itself, everything will be fine. The only thing we need to take care about, is to move ahead of other and not to bring others down or try to hinder other's progress. Rather, we should set our standards high and try to get ahead of others. That's the only solution to the caste problem as I can see it.

Feedback is invited.

Thanks,

Tathagat.

Adding point to Mr Kumar

Mr. Kumar,
Please add one more point to the problem of Biihar-
*As long as so called literate and intellectuals like SNP Sinha/AKThakur/BKS etc etc are pushing their logic in the support of their cast supiriority, Bihar is no longer going to be Change.
Thanks to your Insight and factual posting. For the solution of the problem,we need a social reformer or a good politician who can uplift the status of people.Yes, there is another solution- Follow the suggestions made by Soni Singh, then there will be President rule in Bihar and every problem will be solved because State will then be ruled by Bhumihars(Sorry, Bhumijeet), The Great People,of the Earth.

HURDLE FOR NITISH KUMAR TO BECOME NEXT CM

There are many hurdles for Nitish Kumar to become next CM.
1) Laloo still enjoys support from his cadre voters (Two leg Buffalos) and cadre voter's population is very high.
2) Nitish Kumar still lags in good no. voters. He has to get support from forward caste specially Bhumihars and Rajputs as they are in majority among forward caste in central Bihar and Nitish Kumar's main cadre voters Kurmis are mainly dominant in Central Bihar only. So Bhumihar and Rajput votes can become crucial in many areas in Central Bihar for Nitish Kumar.
3) North Bihar where forward caste combination can do the magic, Laloo is still very powerful out there. BJP has to think something to fetch many seats from Laloo in that area.
4) Presidents rule is not going to help any way. Laloo still enjoy support of Congress and Congress is still major in Rajya Sabha.

Any way we can hope for the best so that we will get an Efficient Engineer as our Chief Minister instead of an ILLITERATE.

NITISH NEXT CM?...PRESIDENT'S RULE IN BIHAR...

While these discussions go on and on and on and ....it is becoming increasingly clear that two issues are becoming dominant all over websites and newspapers, and in the minds of Biharis;

1. NITISH KUMAR is being discussed more and more as the possible CHIEF MINISTER IN-WAITING, OR NEXT IN-LINE, after the educationally challenged Rabri Devi.

2. Imposition of PRESIDENT'S RULE in Bihar is being bandied about in many discussions all over the free press as well.

It seems presently that the BJP is riding a wave nationally, and that they are bound to pick up more seats and secure close to a full majority in the next polls due in April..If this happens, Biharis will have finally have something to cheer about as the BJP will not be forced to cow-tow to its coalition partners, and the above scenarios may just become a reality.

To All

Hi Everybody,

I think this discussion is going no where. One side we have leftist like Rajesh and on the other hand we have extreme rightist like SNP/SK who can use any short of language to throw his/her opponent out. Its good to put forward so many points but in all these the real issues is lost. BIHAR. We must discuss what are the problems and how can we contribute to resolve it. Here is what I think the problems Bihar facing today.

* The prospect of ending caste violence is very gloomy because of the deep rooted problem of Land Reform. Unless the land reform is carried out effectively the caste conflict will exist. The naxalite and Sena's are the product of this failed land reforms.

* The past and present ruler's of Bihar failed to govern the state in a competent way giving birth to a corrupt society which will hamper the development and progress for many years to come.

* The law and order situation is pathetic due to the highly ineffective police. This is because of their inadequate strength, bad administration, and political interference.

* Many political parties ( RJD/BJP/Samata/Congress ) are being supported by caste groups and they provide patronage to those who perpetuate violence. Unless these political parties discontinue their political patronage of caste militias, caste-based violence in Bihar will continue.

Pl. add if you have more.

Rajesh and his communist fantacy

Rajesh,
Time and again you have been exposed and now people know that you are nothing but a left over brain-washed person of communist era.
Naxalite movement is nothing but a mockery in the name of "struggle for poor". It is just an organization of people who are coward and want money without working. It has became an organization of criminals and all other useless fellows who wants to have power in the name of poor people.
It seems that you are their one of the ideolog, who is hiding in the crowd of civilized peolpe and pretend to be a professional (I do not really know what you do for living?) but whatever you do, you have two faces; one to fool people as professional and other for generating propaganda. God knows what you do after the work.
People you are involved in this discussion understood you very well and not going to buy your theory and get trapped by you.
Mr. Singh has very rightly wrote about you and your stupid communist/Naxal approach to make Bihar a better place.
Please stop propganda of communists and Naxalites on this platform. Enough is Enough.

CREDIBILITY OF RAJESH, OR RATHER THE LACK OF IT

IN RESPONSE TO MY COMMENTS POSTED EARLIER, RAJESH REPLIED THAT I, ALONG WITH SNP SINHA AND ANITAJI ARE "LITTLE IN SUBSTANCE, FULL OF ARROGANCE, AND THREATENING AT TIMES"......WHAT??????????

I WOULD LIKE TO POST AGAIN MY EARLIER COMMENTS SO THAT ALL OF YOU CAN JUDGE FOR YOURSELVES, AND THEN DECIDE WHETHER I AM BEING ARROGANT, OR WHETHER RAJESH IS JUST PLAIN IGNORANT, TRYING TO HIDE HIMSELF BY POSTING EXTENSIVE COMMENTS ON THIS BOARD. MY EARLIER COMMENTS BELOW:

"Response to your column"

"I myself am a Bhumihar and this is my position.
Give me someone, anyone, who will do something for the development of Bihar, my state, and I will vote for him or her. He or she could be of any caste, Dalit, Yadav, or Brahmin, as long as he/she improves the roads, works on developing power and industry, I will vote for them. The shortage of electicity causing frequent power outages, the roads in Bihar which are not even worthy of being called roads, anyone who has travelled anywhere in Bihar will agree. Add to this the sever law and order problem in our state, and one can easily see why this RJD. govt. needs to be removed and Center-Rule needs to be imposed in Bihar. When Laloo Yadav goes to jail to visit Md. Shahabudin, who is a criminal with links to the ISI, and who was right-fully jailed by one of the few men in Bihar still left with courage, the former DGP D.P. Ojha, that tells you that something is very, very wrong in Bihar. Let us wake up and get rid of this good for nothing Rabri govt., and in its place, elect anyone of any caste who will do something for the development of Bihar, our state, so that we can all be proud."-Soni Singh

NOW, AFTER MY ABOVE COMMENTS, WHERE DO YOU SEE ME BEING ARROGANT ABOUT ANY CASTE RAJESH? NOWHERE, RIGHT? I GUESS THAT MAKES YOU FULL OF SH** RIGHT? RIGHT, SO NEXT TIME WHY DON'T YOU TRY ACTUALLY SAYING SOMETHING FULL OF SUBSTANCE, INSTEAD OF SHOOTING YOUR MOUTH OFF, BECAUSE RAJESH, YOU JUST GOT EXPOSED FOR WHAT YOU REALLY ARE, AN UNEDUCATED PERSON TRYING TO MAKE YOURSELF LOOK GOOD BY GIVING LONG RESPONSES. YOU REALLY HAVE NO CREDIBILITY LEFT AFTER THIS... YOU SHOULD REALLY THINK BEFORE POSTING YOUR COMMENTS ON A BOARD WHERE EVERYONE CAN SEE YOU FOR WHAT YOU REALLY ARE. FOR THE REST OF YOU, DON'T EVEN BOTHER TO DIGNIFY RAJESH FROM NOW ON, ITS JUST NOT WORTH IT...WE CAN TALK ABOUT REAL SUBSTANCE, SUCH AS HOW EACH OF US CAN IMPROVE OUR TROUBLED STATE, BIHAR....

To Upendra Sinha

I am sorry UpendraJi if I have written anything wrong out there. I am sorry if I did hit sentiments of a particular caste. I never pointed finger to Dr. C.P.Thakur's latent towards his profession and how come I can do it when my father used to see him when he was studying in Patna.
When I wrote something towards C.P.Thakur was his achievent towards his tenure in Cabinate ministry. Being a doctor and being a health minister is totally two different thing in life. No one needs to be a very good doctor in becoming a good health minsiter. This is because health minister is a post to manage a department rather than seeing a patient.

Any way, I am sorry for my any of the comments which made you taste sour.

Thanks to BK singh

BK Singh,Thanks for your eloquent exhortation. Perhaps you have told more than the required in the matter.I fully acknowledge the view that a Criminal is a criminal, whatever ideology they have in their support. The genocide and the action-reaction formula of both the groups in Bihar is a clear example of lawlessness of government and cast mindset of many people.

Thanks to Aneetjee for suggesting me the name of books but I am afraid if I would curtail my time to read.I will try.I have doubt whether you are able to see the process of social dynamics of Hindu society. Are you talking about the Hindu minority living in USA or UK of the volunteers of Bajrang-dal and Shiv-Sainiks in India? when you say "Hindu as a religion is today more vibrant and progressive and so the people belonging to this religion" makes no sense to me if it has not became able to abandon a multi-multi layered society and the "Born-Only" Concept. or if you mean the upsurge of violant protest by Hindu groups against Muslim fundamentalism, then you may be true at your statement. Is this not true that all Budhhists, Jainis,Sikhs or the Muslims in the Indian mainland are only due to its protest against cast system?

Rajesh

Hey Rajesh,

Your approach to improve the plight of poor and socially backward community with the help of Naxalites is going to do any good. You are one of few people who still believe that the roots of all problems of poor people starts from rich and successful people. Mr Singh has very eliquontly tried to explain you.
The world has moved forward for good from the myopia of communists and so called Naxalites (in India, specially Bihar). They are for no good.
If you want to save children and women, do not start hatred against any community. I am too in favor of saving the innocent people specially children and women but through education and not teaching hatred.
Mr. Singh has also made his points by condeming Ranbir Sena as a group of Thugs and criminals. But the Naxalites were solely responsible the origin and devt of Ranbir Sena. If Naxalites have not been against Bhumihars in particular, there would not have been such a dreded Ranbir Sena.
Trust my words. If Naxalites stop targetting Bhumihars, there will no person in that community who will support Ranbir Sena. These bastartd Naxalites had left no options for others but to go to Ranbir Sena or Lorik Sena or Brahmarhashi Sena and so on.
Again, you are blaming Whites of US for the slavery. You know how the Black Kings used to sell these Blacks to White. For your knowledge, this is still happening in Sudan and some other African countries, where the Black people sell them to Arabs for slavery for money.

Caste and Bihar

I started this discussion with a single agenda - how to protect women and children from the violence resulting from agrarian conflicts. But the discussion turned to caste loyalties and completely avoided the core problem. Some people in this forum seem have strong opinion against the naxalites, but the issue here is not who right or wrong. Although it is desirable not have this war at all but at least both sides must agree on some basic code of conduct and avoid harming women and children. Unfortunately many people here in this forum seems to give tacit approval to Ranbir sena methods who specifically Dalit target Dalit women and children. It forms impression how Dalits and other extremely low castes are viewed.

A comment about plight of Dalits and downtrodden. Anita Choudhary brought up good example about Blacks in America and how they overcame slavery. I like to point out that slavery was the result of white settler's inhumane and racist attitude and not due to Negro's fault. Similarly Dalits cannot be blamed for their plight. Problem lies with the rest.
