Let's look throgh a wider window..

Dear pankaj,I share with your cheers for e-poll victory of Nitish Kumar and hope that he will win his mass favour to hold top position in Bihar.
Friend, As regard to the ongoing discussion i would like to say that Rajesh is not bad at his arguement until he starts putting logic in favour of (mis)deeds of Lallo and his goons. One thing we have to accept that Cast factor is very dominant and deciding factor in state politics and not very many person is free from the prejudices. Let's have a wider look at different alternative government and their associated party. The top national party BJP has supported BSP governance in UP until water has overflown its head.I hope that you will be having samiliar bad idea for KUMARI MAYAVATI.The other national party, Congress is suppoting RJD in Bihar(This is why Laloo government is survivng in Bihar!).Both BJP and Congress are trying to woo Jayalaitha(The Great Chappal and sari queen of India) and to enter Tamilnadu lagislation. Now, can you say that these national party has political ideaology? Are not they have only ruling ideaology(Same as Lallo)? can it be deduced that if BJP or Congress comes in power then Bihar's problem will be solved. No doubt, Nitish is the best alternative among others. One thing we have to accept that if Lallo has ruled Bihar for 14 years then it is not because he has adopted an unconstitutional way but he has taken advantage of the lacunae of *Bhartiya Sambidhan*.Now it is the time to ger rid of the shame and to make change. Are the literates and educated ones are going to take part for the change or simply making discussion on bihartimes.com.............?

To Rajesh

Hey Rajesh,

You are now becoming totally ridiculous in your arguments. With the passion you are defending Laloo Yadav and his regime is laughable.

Just like Laloo and Rabri who will never admit their faults and failures, you are also hell-bent on pointing fingers towards everyone else except the King and Queen of Bihar.

I am going to try to put it in very simple words that even you can understand:

Let's assume a bunch of robbers invade your home, rob your belongings, rape your sister or daughter, kidnap your son, and then kill your brother before leaving the crime scene. You and your relatives, your neighbors, your friends demand justice but the criminals, let's assume they were Rajput or Bhumihar or any other upper caste people, and their gangmembers and their relatives and their friends and their neighbors react by saying that it's the lower caste people who are out to destroy these people and are unjustly branding them as criminals.

Aren't you going to argue with them that it's not a matter of upper caste or lower caste but these people are criminals, robbers, kidnappers, rapists etc etc?

A criminal is a criminal is a criminal is a criminal regardless of his caste, color, religion, sex, or nationality. End of discussion. What is so hard to understand about it?

Same goes for Laloo and his brigade. According to Laloo, the High Court is influenced by RSS, the Governor is influenced by communal forces, the entire opposition is guided by anti-backward people, the entire upper-caste is out to destroy dalits. They all are wrong and Laloo and you are right!

Wake up and smell the coffee, dude.

To Rajesh

Rajesh here is another one for you.I know like Laloo you too will brand the Governer as an RSS agent. Anyway read this in full to enrich your knowledge base.

"The official Republic Day function in Bihar today got embroiled in a controversy following some remarks by Governor M Rama Jois.

He spoke against the functioning of the state government prompting RJD chief Laloo Prasad Yadav to say that he would complain to President A P J Abdul Kalam against the Governor's speech.

Addressing the gathering after unfurling the tricolour at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna, Jois said a sense of insecurity had gripped people of Bihar and feelings of fear and terror were uppermost in their minds.

"It was painful to learn from newspaper reports that people of other states were afraid of sending their wards to Bihar to take part in any function," he said.

Jois called upon all those entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining law and order to discharge their duties without any fear or bias to change the situation and re-establish the atmosphere of peace and security.

"The greatest responsibility of the state is to ensure security to the public through proper law and order," he said.

Mired in controversy

Peeved at the Governor's remarks, Laloo Prasad Yadav told reporters at the function that he would soon meet the President to lodge a formal complaint against Jois for his "uncharitable" remarks against the government.

He described the Governor as being "part of the school of RSS and BJP".

Accusing the Governor of using the Republic Day function to make a political speech, the RJD chief said "this is not a political forum."

He said he had opposed Jois' appointment as the Governor for his RSS leanings.

"I will call on the President to complain to him about the manner in which the Governor violated constitutional norms and decorum. I will present before A P J Abdul Kalam the text of Jois' speech and request him for his removal."

In his speech, the Governor said a number of constitutional provisions meant for moral and physical well being of the youth were not being implemented for want of consensus.

Even the Supreme Court rulings were flouted, he alleged and said though the apex court had ruled that bandhs adversely affect fundamental rights of citizens and were unconstitutional, the ruling was not being followed. (PTI)"

Love for Laloo

It is misconception that I blame everybody but Laloo for all the problems. Read my earlier postings. I did put him responsible for not doing enough for the landless and Dalits in Bihar. Feudal landlords still run unobstructed and continue to butcher women and children. Roads are still bad.
The point I am trying to make here is that a lot of people, especially the educated, just want to dislodge Laloo by any means. It is my view that these saviours of Bihar don't care about common people in Bihar as such. They are ardent follower of RSS and want to re-establish the high caste supramacy. But it may be my extreme view and hopefuly wrong. But as long as Laloo Prasad Yadav is called "Lalooa" I have no reason to think otherwise.

Rajesh's love for Laloo

Usually, I avoid discussion on Bihar and Laloo as it is really embarassing for me as being a person of Great Land of Budha and center of great culture and civilization, but Rajesh and his untiring efforts to produce Laloo as "Savior of lower caste and poor people" forced me to write.
There is nothing wrong to be an ideolog and staunch supporter of some body even of Laloo, but what is wrong in your arguements that you are blaming every one (upper caste, brahmin, Bhumihar, judiciary an so on ) but Laloo for the degradation of Bihar and people of Bihar. You are one of the people who puts blame on everyone for his failure except himself. Any problem, no matter how bad or big is, can be solved but you need to accept that you have a problem. So, the problem of Bihar can be solved as the people of Bihar has started to accept that Bihar is one of the worst place in India at the present and need serious attention before it becomes some place like that exits in Africa.
People like Rajesh needs to wake up from this stupid belief that all upper caste and educated people are nothing but sycophants and only Laloo and his goondas are saviors of Bihar.
Laloo will go and his days are coming close to end. It is just the time factor when this will happen and Bihar will again back on right track. The land of Budha is not empty of good people, who will come forward after the demise of Laloo. However, in my opinion "Sooner the Better."
Hope good sense will prevail and Rajesh and people like Rajesh will start thinking beyond Laloo.

Laloo & Rajesh & Bihar

It will be in the true spirit of humaninity to let Laloo go unabated. No body can continue to run like Laloo for a long time. Today was THE day for two NGO workers (Mukesh and Sarita, I guess), Yesterday it was THE day for SK Dubey (of NHAI) and tomorrow it could be THE day Laloo. Laloo has his filled his pot of sins to the brim, it won't take long for this pot to explode. And, when it explodes, it will be so vigorous that burn Laloo & Shahabuddin to their bone ashes. Just wait and watch Laloo to overfill his pot of crimes. Soon, it will explode.

Someone has compared Laloo with Saddam. It is very untrue. Saddam's Iraq was in a much better state than whole India, forget about Bihar. The infrastructure, education, roads, law and order etc. were in much better state in Iraq during the regime of Iraq. Other day I was watching the roads of Baghdad, and believe me they are much better than roads in Delhi or Hyderabad or Banglore. It is the stupid americans who are committing genocide in Iraq. I will be glad if somebody compares Laloo with Bush -- both of them are immediate sons of monkeys.

To Rajesh and his love for Laloo

Dear Rajesh,

Sanjay Jha has written very eliquontaly and brought a very good point about you, when he stated that Rajesh represents a group of mentally sick people, who can justify any wrong doing of Osama, Saddam, Lalloo, and Sahabuddin. I absolutey agree with him. You are mentally sick man. You need help. You have gone in your arguements to the extent that you can not think rationally and so in your defence, you have started to call every body "Lalloo haters".
Any sensible man will not appreciate and like Laloo as the way he has degraded Bihar. He is mockery in the name of Bihar. I also agree with Bal Thakare when he called Laloo as joker in politics. Although Thakare (he also a nonsense guy) is not a person, whom I would like to give example to make my points, but even he understands about level of Laloo.
So, read some recent news what goons of Laloo has done in Bihar; killed innocents people in Gaya.
Shame on you and your mentality.

Lalloo and Rajesh

Hey Rajesh,
You stink man. I have real doubt about your education. Something is fundamentally wrong with you. You either do not understand what various people are trying to say about Bihar (and of course its idiot son, Laloo) in general and how Bihar has been degraded to the point that people are afraid of identifynig themselves as Bihari or hail from Bihar. There are two very good article in the present issue of Bihartimes:
1. Written by somebody from Delhi that reads"If I will be Chief Minister of Bihar" and this young fellow has very nicely contratsted himself and what needs to be done to change Bihar and make Bihar a proud state.
2. The goons of Laloo (some yadav)in broad day light killed two innocents workers (volnteers, who were trying to return the land to a lower caste people from this dreaded yadav criminal. So this is what Laloo and his goons (yadavs and Muslims) are doing to Bihar under his leadership. As I said you have some fundamnetal problems and you cannot think rational.
If you have real sense of self respect and dignity, you should really stop wasting others time. I do not where do you work and what you do for living, but it is sure that you will create lots of problems in place of solving the problems for your employer. You should quit and volnteer for Laloo. This time, Laloo will be sent back to his appropriate den with other criminals and he may have some good time with Osama and Sahabuddin (the members of Al Quaida.
I will pray for you.

Voting Result

Nitish Kumar is still leading with huge margin from other MPs.

Any solid reason why Nitish Kumar is getting 26% of total votes alone where as other MPs are suffering below 10% (except Siwan Don)????

Productive discussion?

How does one judge discussion to be productive? For most in this forum any productive discussion got to have elements of anti-Lalooism and mission to save world from Laloo. Any pro-Laloo comment is treason. It is amazing how people are obsessed with one single person. I am not sure if anybody here has life and ready to discuss about something else.

Cast your vote...

Dear All,
Don't you find interesting that a popular minister like Syed Shahnawaj Husain has got 4% vote whereas goons like Mohammed Shahabuddin(Siwan) has got 14% .Does this result not prove the righteousness of the Laloo Kingdom in Bihar? Any Expert to comment on......?

Dear Jhajee

You are not far behind in the thinking of people like Rajesh is I could read yor line "Caste factor was something which VP brought up in the modern India and that alone has put India at least 25 years behind from the situation it was at the point of implementing the Mandal commission's report." As regard to the Bihar, Mandal commission has not much sence when there was already 22% reservation for Backwards since 1978 after Karpuri Thakur.
If you are commenting on the discussion(?) raised by Rajesh, it is wastage of time as Laloos are ruling Bihar not because of un-educated voters but the "So called educated person" like Rajesh.I guess he might be having much more Lalooism ideaology to lead the State with glorious past.
Let's have some more productive discussion......

Bihar Fit Case For President Rule

The anti-Laloo bigots are looking more and more interesting. They would worship anybody who has something to say against Laloo Yadav. If Musharaf and Bin Laden criticises Laloo then these bigots will come up with hymns praising them and call Al-Queda a great institution of mankind.
Now coming this judiciary, some call them great institution for same reason. But aren't they sitting on tons of pending cases? Common people have stopped going there to settle legal disputes because it takes ages to get noticed. Instead of delivering justice, which is their primary job, these judges are trying fix the government functioning and indulge in political gossips. Of course these PILs always manage to get to the top of files.
But what amuses me most are the lawyers who covers themselves with thick black outfits in the middle of summer.

A correction regarding my earlier posting. I compared court room dramas with Javed Akhter movies and call them third rate. Actually it is Kader Khan;s movies and they are not third rate. I always enjoy them. My apologies..

For Rajesh and likes....

Caste factor is something which existed long time back. The reality and the current problem which any person faces is not that he or she is born in a high caste or low caste family but what is the economical situation of the family where one is born. Rajesh and few others are trying to make issue out of nothing. Caste factor was something which VP brought up in the modern India and that alone has put India at least 25 years behind from the situation it was at the point of implementing the Mandal commission's report. I am not sure how many needy "dalits" really benefited from that reservation but sure it has further fractured the Indian society in general. Bihar which already was fractured on many issues, they further divided and there came a complete irresponsible and joke in the form of ruler of Bihar namely Laloo. It will be always debatable as what has he contributed in the last 15 years or so but one thing is evident that Bihar has further slipped down in its growth as compared to many states in India. A state like Punjab which saw all kinds of terrorism, could recover from the problems and has started prospering. Laloo blamed Jagannath Mishra, his predecessor of all the wrongdoings when he came to the power but certainly it was better than the state of affairs what Punjab had been in, when
Prakash Singh Badal took over. In spite of so many charges of corruption against him for that tenure, he at least brought back Punjab back on the track. What did Laloo do, even if he attributed all the ills to the misruling of Bihar. Laloo and his party has ruled almost for a period which no other single party head had in Bihar, but the condition of Bihar is not hidden from any one. Mere lip service by saying something in comic style or allegation and counter allegation by saying that center does not help, it really serves no good for the people of Bihar. Laloo had very proudly said once that he is the kingmaker and had really elected I.K.Gujral from Patna so that he could remain PM. What did he get in return for the people of Bihar as a bargain? No one could be more closer than Gujral in centre for Laloo, and what did he get for us? He is a very shrewd politician and knows when to say what.
Rajesh has started talking about many historical points, which I do not know any dalit forget about upper caste people might even have heard of. Those issues have virtually no relevance. Reservation or no reservation, in Bihar currently 80% or people's representatives, be it MP,MLA,MLCs,Sarpanch etc. etc. are from Dalit or Backward caste. What wonder have they done? Mr Rajesh, just for the sake of discussion, do not bring non-issues into the discussion. How do you justify that? What change you think, will it bring if that Poona Act is implemented. Here is the case in Bihar, without implementing that you have what you wanted to achieve through that Poona Act being implemented.
Remember, politicians are politicians, they are neither Hindu or Muslim, neither upper or lower caste or Dalit...they have only one religion and that is of politician. They do not even remember their own community. Else each and every Yadavs in Bihar would have at least been in a very happy situation.
Bottom line is that people like Rajesh represents a level of mentality which unfortunately exist in the society, particularly in Bihar which is responsible for electing people like Lalaoo, because they are so myopic in their vision and so biased in their thinking and frustrated for some reason to be against the goods of the society that they can really be fuelled a little bit and they become the self appointed lieutenants of Laloo brigade and work tirelessly till they are elected and after that they are thrown in the trashes. Rajesh, wake up, your sweet dream of Laloo will soon turn into a nightmare when someone close to you will be affected in Bihar, that time they will not distinguish whether he/she is a relative of staunch supporter of Laloo. Criminals are again criminals, they are busy in their occupation and they can kill, rape, kidnap anyone, it could be anyone of my family or Rajesh's family. The situation in Bihar has to improve. It is really sad to note that people like Rajesh are bragging a lot about Backward caste and cause for which Laloo stands and blah blah..but forget that Laloo represents all the people who are opportunist and helps only those who help him, that time he does not distinguish whether the person is from upper or lower caste.
Time to wake up Mr Rajesh! Haven't you seen people dying for medicine or food in upper caste families too? Which age are you living in? Upper caste is only for name sake now. All these nonsense what you are talking about, does not make sense. Only one division exist in the society today, economic division. A empty stomach of a person from either caste needs only one thing- "Food", a ruler of Bihar needs to provide that irrespective of which caste he belongs to or which caste the dying person belongs to. Period.
No more stupid and nonsense arguments from Mr. Rajesh, who is reflecting his upbringing and values through which he has been brought up in. Perhaps it is the fault of his society and families through which he has got all these wrong values and notions about the modern society. It is alarming, because as long as mentality of people like Rajesh exist in the modern society, the presence and causes for Osama, Saddam, Laloo will be justified.
